Best Practices

Record in Real-Time

Record events as they happen for the most accurate timestamps and data.

Designate a Recorder

Have one person dedicated to recording stats during the match for consistency.

Review at Half-Time

Use the break to verify all first-half events are correctly recorded.

Focus on Key Stats

Start with goals, assists, and cards. Add more detailed stats as you become comfortable.

Common Issues

Stats Not Appearing in Player Profile

  • Ensure the match status is COMPLETED (not still LIVE)
  • Check that the player was in the lineup for the match
  • Verify stats were recorded for the correct player

Score Does Not Match Goals

  • The score is automatically calculated from recorded goals
  • Check for any missing or duplicate goal entries
  • Own goals count for the opposing team's score

Stat Assigned to Wrong Player

  • Edit the event in the match timeline to change the player
  • The correction will automatically update all aggregations
