- 4Public groups allow anyone to view content; private groups require membership
Public vs Private Groups
Public Group
- Anyone can view matches and standings
- Player profiles are visible
- Season data is accessible
- Great for leagues and tournaments
Private Group
- Only members can view content
- Invite required to access
- Data is not indexed by search engines
- Best for private groups and clubs
Even in private groups, individual match links can still be shared publicly if the share feature is used.
Share After Every Match
Build engagement by sharing results consistently after every match. Your community will look forward to updates.
Use Share Cards
Share cards include a visual preview with scores and key stats. They look great on social media and messaging apps.
Pin Season Standings
Share the public season standings link and pin it in your group chat so everyone can check the table anytime.
Tag Players
When sharing on social media, tag the players mentioned in the share card to boost engagement.
Share link shows no data
- Make sure the group is set to Public
- Check that the match or content exists and is completed
- Try regenerating the share link
Social media preview not showing
- Some platforms cache previews - wait and try again
- Use the platform's link debugger tool to refresh the preview
- Make sure the URL is correct and accessible
Want to make content private again
- Change your group to Private in settings
- Existing public links will stop working
- Content will only be accessible to group members
