Registering for Competitions
Learn how to find public competitions, register your team, track your registration status, and manage withdrawals.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:
- A Balla Stats account
- At least one team in your group
- Any requirements specified by the competition (e.g., minimum players)
Team registration allows you to sign up your team for public competitions hosted by other organizers on Balla Stats. Browse available competitions, submit your registration, and track your status.

Find competitions that are open for registration:
- 1Visit the Public Seasons page or the Competitions page
- 2Browse the available competitions with open registration
- 3Use filters to narrow down by country, type, or search by name
Filter Options
- Search by competition name
- Filter by country
- Filter by type (League, Tournament, Cup)

Understanding Competition Cards
- Registration status badge (Open, Closing Soon, Closed)
- Season type (League, Tournament, Cup)
- Hosted by (organizer group name)
- Team capacity and spots remaining
- Registration deadline date
- Entry fee amount (if applicable)
Before registering, review all the competition information:
- 1Click on a competition card to view full details
- 2Read the competition description and rules
- 3Check the schedule, format, and venue information
- 4Note the entry fee and payment methods accepted

Check Before Registering:
- Entry fee amount and currency
- Accepted payment methods (card, cash)
- Competition start and end dates
- Any specific team requirements
- Whether admin approval is required
Begin the registration process for your team:
- 1Click the "Register Team" button on the competition page
- 2Log in to your Balla Stats account if not already signed in
- 2The registration form will open with the required steps

Note
You must be logged in to register. If you do not have an account, you will be prompted to create one.
Choose which team to register for the competition:
- 1Select an existing team from your groups
- 2Or create a new team specifically for this competition
- 3Provide any additional information requested by the organizer

If you create a new team, it will be added to your group automatically. You can manage its roster later.
If the competition has an entry fee, select your payment method:
- 1Review the entry fee amount displayed
- 2Select your preferred payment method
Payment Options
- Card: Pay online via secure checkout
- Cash: Pay in person to the organizer

Payment Timing
Card payments are processed immediately. Cash payments are marked as pending until the organizer confirms receipt.
Confirm your registration details and submit:
- 1Review your team selection, payment method, and any notes
- 2Click "Submit Registration" to complete

Your registration has been submitted! You will receive a notification when the organizer reviews your application.
Monitor the status of your registration:
- 1Go to My Registrations from your dashboard or the Registrations page
- 2View the status of each registration you have submitted

Registration Status
- Pending: Awaiting organizer review
- Approved: Your team has been accepted
- Rejected: Registration was declined
- Withdrawn: You cancelled your registration
Payment Status
- Pending: Payment not yet received
- Paid: Payment confirmed
- Exempt: No payment required
If you need to withdraw your team from a competition:
- 1Go to My Registrations
- 2Find the registration you want to withdraw
- 3Click "Withdraw" on the registration
- 4Confirm the withdrawal
Important
Withdrawal may not be possible after a certain point. Check the competition rules regarding withdrawal policies and refund eligibility.
When Can You Withdraw?
- Before approval: Always possible, no restrictions
- After approval: May require organizer consent
- After matches begin: Generally not permitted
Register Early
Popular competitions fill up fast. Register as soon as you are ready to secure your spot.
Complete Payment Promptly
If the competition has an entry fee, pay quickly to avoid losing your spot to the waitlist.
Read Requirements Carefully
Make sure your team meets all requirements before registering to avoid rejection.
Competition Not Appearing
- Registration may have closed (deadline passed)
- Team capacity may be full
- Competition may have already started
- Check your filters are not hiding results
Registration Rejected
- Team did not meet competition requirements
- Payment was not completed in time
- Organizer reached capacity with earlier registrations
- Contact the organizer for specific rejection reasons
Can't Find My Teams
- Ensure you are logged into the correct account
- You must be an admin or owner of the team's group
- Create a new team if your existing teams do not appear
