Team Analytics & Performance
Learn how to access and interpret team analytics, view key performance metrics, analyze goal statistics, and track form over time.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:
- A Balla Stats account
- Membership in a group with at least one team
- At least one completed match with recorded statistics
Team analytics give you a comprehensive view of your team's performance. Track win rates, goal statistics, form trends, and identify top performers to make better tactical decisions.
Win Rate
Track overall and recent win percentages

Navigate to the team analytics dashboard:
- 1Go to your group's Teams page
- 2Select the team you want to analyze
- 3Click the "Analytics" tab on the team page
- 4The analytics dashboard will load with available data
The overview section shows your team's core performance numbers:
Overview Metrics
- Matches Played: Total number of completed matches
- Wins: Total matches won
- Draws: Total matches drawn
- Losses: Total matches lost
- Win Rate: Percentage of matches won
Metrics are calculated from all completed matches. Ongoing or cancelled matches are not included.
Analyze your team's attacking and defensive output:
Attacking Stats
- Total goals scored across all matches
- Average goals scored per match
Defensive Stats
- Total goals conceded across all matches
- Average goals conceded per match
Goal Difference
The difference between goals scored and goals conceded. A positive goal difference indicates a strong overall performance.
Track your team's recent performance trends:
Form Indicators
- Recent streak: Last 5 match results (W/D/L)
- Home vs Away: Performance comparison by venue
See which players are contributing most to your team's performance:
Top Performers
- Top Scorers: Players with the most goals
- Top Assists: Players with the most assists
- Clean Sheets: Goalkeepers with the most shutouts
Click on any player name to view their full individual statistics page with detailed performance data.
Track Trends Over Time
Check analytics regularly to spot performance trends early and make adjustments before issues become problems.
Compare Home & Away
Many teams perform differently at home vs away. Use this data to adjust tactics for away matches.
Inform Tactical Decisions
Use goal statistics to identify whether your team needs to focus on attacking improvement or defensive strengthening.
