Prerequisites
Before making predictions, you need:
- A Balla Stats account
- Membership in a group with upcoming matches

Navigate to the predictions page to see upcoming matches you can predict.
- 1Go to your group page
- 2Click on the Predictions tab or section
- 3You will see a list of upcoming matches available for predictions
Select a match and enter your predicted score for each team.
- 1Find the match you want to predict
- 2Enter the score you predict for the home team
- 3Enter the score you predict for the away team
- 4Set your confidence level and submit
Points are awarded based on how accurate your prediction is compared to the actual result.
Points Breakdown
- Exact Score - 3 points: You predicted the exact final score
- Correct Result - 1 point: You predicted the correct outcome (win/draw/loss) but not the exact score
- Wrong Result - 0 points: Your predicted outcome was incorrect
Confidence levels can multiply your points. Higher confidence means more risk but potentially more reward.
Check the prediction leaderboard to see how you rank against other members in your group.

Predict Early
Submit your predictions well before kickoff. Predictions lock when the match starts, so do not leave it to the last minute.
Watch Form
Check recent match results and team form before predicting. Teams on winning streaks are more likely to continue performing well.
Use Confidence Wisely
Save high confidence for matches where you feel strongly about the outcome. Spreading high confidence across all predictions reduces your edge.
Check Head-to-Head
Look at past results between the two teams. Historical matchups can reveal patterns that help your predictions.
Cannot submit a prediction
- Check that the match has not already started
- Make sure you are a Member or higher in the group
- Verify that predictions are enabled for this match
Points not updating
- Points are calculated after the match is completed
- Make sure the match status is COMPLETED, not just ended
- Try refreshing the page to see updated scores
